Garden Gate necklace

Description

Bejeweled swallowtail bird flies over a gorgeous very vintage buckle portion. Highly detailed chartreuse metal focal is about 60 or 70 years old and brings to mind an elaborate garden gate. Its yellow-green base is an early plastic type material. Vintage bird is a former brooch with chatoyant (tiger eye effect) purple cabochon.

Mesh chain and textured links meet at the front-closing toggle and aurora borealis crystal ball picks up the tiny gems in the bird. Diamond shapes dangle to the side on this asymmetrical necklace.

19” long necklace, drops 3 ½” from chain. Shown on a petite mannequin with 14” neck. If you’d like it lengthened please write total length in notes to seller. As always feel free to contact me with any questions.
