THE RINGSTONE SYMBOL

The inscription upon the Baha’i Ringstone is also a form of the word Baha (Arabic for “Glory”) known as the Greatest Name. It is also symbolic of the three planes (the 3 horizontal lines running through the center of the symbol) which represent the World of God, the World of Revelation (Manifestations of God) and the World of Creation (Man). The vertical line unifies the three central horizontal lines, as God’s Divine Manifestations link the World of God and the World of Man. The two stars, one on each side, represent the Baha’i Faith’s Twin Messengers themselves, the Bab and Baha’u’llah.
