The custom chic and classic silhouette portrait plate will forever capture your loved one’s simple beauty. This piece is perfect for grandparents to hang on the wall in a grouping, to hang in your child’s bedroom or nursery or to use as a special day plate. Each plate is custom designed, personalized with the model’s name and hand painted from photographs you provide. Silhouette is painted and not created in photoshop or any other photo software which truly makes it a piece of art.

Plate measures a generous 11 3/4" across.
Plates pictured are of a three year old boy and a one year old girl.

Rim colors include licorice black (as shown), lemon yellow, sour apple green, sage green, turquoise, cotton candy pink, robin's egg blue. Rim can be scalloped in design, polka dotted or solid. Contact me for other color options.

●Tips for photographs●
Take photograph at the height of your model. If your subject is light complected please take photograph against a dark colored solid background. If your model is dark complected a light solid background is ideal. Keep in mind your model’s hair will be painted as it appears in the photograph. For the most dramatic contrast consider placing girl’s hair in a high ponytail or a bun. This will show of her neck beautifully. Boys’ hair should be styled as it normally appears.

Since all ceramics are hand-painted it is characteristic to notice variations in color and art, including brush-strokes and specks in the glaze. This is intentional and adds to the unique quality of each item.

All pieces are non-toxic, food and dishwasher safe. Although each piece is kiln-fired to insure the longevity of the piece hand washing is recommended.
