This cake is painted using the impasto technique, the frosting is applied in thick layers using a small pallet knife.
I've also varnished this painting to protect it from dust and such.

Please note that due to the great variations in which monitors portray colors this painting may differ somewhat from the colors which you view.
Every effort is made to replicate the true colors as I take my paintings out doors to shoot in natural light.

This oil is painted on a gessoed art board on a wood backing from an art supply store.


Measurements of this painting are 6" x 6".

Note: Because each painting is fresh daily, it will take 2 -3 weeks for the oil painting to dry thoroughly before it can be shipped.
I use Gamblin Professional oils, your painting will last a many many many generations.
