Description

Deep etch red rubber stamp set of 18 images on a 6 x 9 inch sheet.

These stamps are uncut and unmounted – they come as the “raw rubber” sheet in a clear reseal-able sleeve. You cut and mount as you please (mounting tips are below), and pay much less per image than you would for pre-mounted stamps. (You can also split the images and offer as gifts or even sell on Etsy or Ebay.)

18 images:

1 pair of leaping/kissing fish - about 4 x 4 inches
1 image of waves - about 2 x 5 inches
4 solid droplets of varying sizes
4 outline droplets of varying sizes
4 solid bubbles of varying sizes
4 outline bubbles of varying sizes

These stamps work well for jewelry/treasure bags, greeting cards and stationery.

Great for scarves/shawls: Place the leaping fish over the waves stamp, arrange the individual droplets for a splash effect, and stamp at either end of the scarf or shawl. Then stamp a trail of bubbles along the length of the scarf/shawl.

Note that any black and white images are low resolution. The stamps and the impressions they leave are crisp and clear.

Our stamps are made from our original artwork. We send the images out to be made into magnesium plates and then rubber stamp sheets.

The images on deep etch stamps are raised higher from the "floor" of the stamp - this means that they can produce clearer and crisper images when used on softer surfaces or with thicker inks or paints. They are perfect for printing on fabric or thick rag paper, pressing in clay and embossing velvet.

You can mount these stamps permanently to bases made of wood or other material, or you can back them with a special mounting cushion that uses static cling to adhere them to a variety of glossy-surfaced materials, such as clear acrylic blocks. This allows you to attach and reattach the stamps to mounting blocks, without having to use temporary adhesives. The stamps can be stored more compactly than wood mounted stamps - they can be stuck to laminated binder sheets or even to a file cabinet or fridge.
