Crochet Pattern--Little Birds in Their Nests

I absolutely love these little birds and I think you will, too. :)

This is a crochet pattern in .pdf format for making the birds and nests pictured. It's easy to follow but does require that you're familiar with single, half double, and double crochet. Knowledge of single crochet decreases is helpful, but how to do one is described.

You'll need a small amount of worsted weight yarn, F (3.75 mm), I (5.5 mm), and K (6.5 mm) hooks, the stuffing of your choice, and a tapestry needle for joining, embroidery, and weaving ends.

The finished bird is approximately 2.75 inches (7 cm) tall. The little nest is 1.75 (4.5 cm) inches across and .75 inch (1.9 cm) tall, and the bigger nest is 4 inches (10.2 cm) by 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) by 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).
