Zippered orchid purple tote bag with batik ALPACA

Description

This medium-large (18" w x 13" h x 4" d) cotton canvas zipper-topped tote bag has been hand-decorated with a batik alpaca just for you to carry around your stuff. Maybe knitting. Maybe for a large purse. Maybe a little picnic. No pockets or anything fancy, just a zip-top bag with a cute alpaca!

It has been stencilled with soy wax for the dye resist, dyed with procion dye, washed & dried, hand-painted with features & heat set. Wash the first time by hand or separately with warm water--should be quite washfast after the first wash. I purchased the bag premade. It has nylony (the label says PP?) 27" long web handles and apparently should be handwashed if necessary in the future (this is for the bag, not for the batik).

These match my batik t-shirts that are very popular with knitters and spinners and sheep-owners. I also make the shirts & bags with sheep, alpaca, goats, bunnies & dragons (I am also in SCA). There will probably be more colors and animals soon.

This bag does not have the name of my etsy shop on it, just the alpaca. :)
