Down by the River. Bracelet

Time has come again to dawdle along sunny river banks, gazing at countless tiny incredibly green leaves silently unfolding above our heads, and even though water definitely isn't my natural element, I’m always surprised that it inspires much of my jewelery… This bracelet makes no exception. But could you seriously think of something else in front of these icy blue aquamarine drops ? I bet you could no more than me. So, here’s my Spring formula : take a shiny sterling silver “baby monster” chain, add a silver brushed disk dangling at one end with tiny waterdrops-like aquamarine chips “running down” a hammered headpin, then carefully wire-wrap multiple plump aquamarine drops with nice faceting, and finish it off with a generous roundish lobster clasp that perfectly complements this fluid bracelet. This model would be gorgeous as bridal jewelery. Happy Spring !

Il est temps de reprendre les promenades au bord de la rivière, le nez levé vers les milliers de feuilles minuscules qui déplient soigneusement leur robe délicate. L’eau n’est définitivement pas mon élément et pourtant, même si le jeu de mots est facile, elle est une source d’inspiration intarissable. Ce bracelet ne fait pas exception. Voici donc mon équation printanière : prenez une chaîne aux maillons généreux, ajoutez à une extrémité un disque d’argent brossé et quelques “gouttes” d’eau, enroulez soigneusement des aigues-marines sur un solide fil d’argent et terminez par un fermoir joliment arrondi. Ce modèle est parfait également pour un mariage.
