Description

These bright, detailed lithographs are from a 100-year-old survey made by the U.S. government of fishes in various locations. I included the original listing of the fish names in the 3x5 sizes (all four corners), since I thought these could make nice cards and collages, plus filled out the sheet with two 2x5 inch fishes in the middle. Fishes in this sheet include various salmon and trout, and they are backed by a light blue and sepia background.

A:: I refuse to use an image unless I am 100% confident that it is in the public domain in the U.S. or I personally own the copyright. I write letters to publishing houses and authors (all of which I have on file), pour through old copyright renewal notices, have a lawyer with whom I consult on a regular basis, and create my own original designs.
