Sakura Sukiya-bukuro Pouch

Description

This pouch is inspired by Japanese traditional clutch bag called "SUKIYA-BUKURO (数寄屋袋)". It is a small pouch for carrying things necessary for Tea Ceremony. Usually ladies slip it into inside of "Otaiko (お太鼓)" (the back side) of obi.

The outer fabric is cotton 100%. It has a bright pink and purple sakura (桜) =cherry blossom on yabane (矢羽根) = arrow feathers background which is dark purple and beige kanoko shibori (鹿の子絞り) = fawn spot tie-dyeing method.

The inner fabric is solid bright pink cotton 100%.

This could be a reversible pouch. (see picture #4)

It's almost same size as DVD case. (see picture #5)
