1940s or 1950s Indian PEACOCK Black Velvet and Gold Embroidered CLUTCH PURSE
Description
Wow!A highly decorated black velvet clutch purse. Peacock and flowers--embroidery and beading. Primary color is gold thread. Lined in silk, snap closure. 2 interior pockets, 1 is segmented. 8 in. wide x 5 in. high x 1-2 1/2 in. deep (expandable).
A lovely fellow Etsy-ian clarified that this purse was made in India in the 1940s or 1950s.
Great vintage condition with no obvious losses, little wear.
