A very elegant evening bag, wedding party or prom bag.I made this one of a beautiful peach-colored satin brocade with a cream-colored woven diamond shaped design. Across the bottom, it has the softest-ever fringe and a silver young maiden button on a long tab decoration. I lined this purse in a matching peach-colored polished cotton and used satin cording for the drawstrings.
This purse measures 7" (17.8cm) wide by 10" (25.4cm) long and the fringe adds another 1" (2.5cm) to the bottom. When it's drawn up, the drawstrings are plenty long to slip over your wrist. Not too big, but just right for carrying everything you need in a formal bag.
