Large Victorian Style Silver Octopus Necklace
Description
The symbolic meanings for the powerful octopus are complexity, diversity, intelligence, insight, mystery, as well as illusion.This large octopus pendant is brass which has been silver plated, antiqued and oxidized to bring out all the lovely details. The gorgeous pendant is made from very old tooling. It measures about 2 1/2 inches wide by about 2 inches is length. It is hung on an antiqued silver plated chain and has a lobster clasp closure. The total length of the necklace, including the pendant is about 18 inches.
