Blingy Steampunk Gears Necklace
Description
This steampunk necklace started with a back plate from a long-defunct antique pocket watch. Watch parts went into some wonderful depressions that once held the works of the watch. I gently filled them with epoxy resin and then carefully arranged assorted steampunk goodies, primarily more watch parts in the resin anchored by a wonderful set of vintage rhinestones in white and blue. In addition, the piece is about 1 3/4" in diameter and is on a really gorgeous vintage chain that is about 26". I am a trained, if somewhat blingy, silversmith and have built this piece to last.Added on Nov 01, 2009
