Description

These 5" Tumblers were hand thrown then altered to fit snug in your hand, even without a handle. Then they were trimmed and loosely decorated. Multiple glazes are applied that flash and form subtle crystals that photos don't fully capture. Then we load and carefully fire the work in our Kiln to achieve the fully realized pieces that you see in the photos. The journey really is what we live for. When work like this comes out we can't help but be pleased.

Our goal as potters is to make functional work that people can have a personal relationship with. When you're drinking from our tumbler that feels good in your hand, you will get an understanding of the relationship that you would not be getting from one churned out of a factory.

All work is fully functional, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. With careful firing my distinct glazes form a micro-crystalline pattern.
