The Candy Box
Description
All of my paintings start as either a conventional or a pinhole Polaroid photograph. This sculpture contains 3 pinhole Polaroid images that I took of the Crown Candy shop in downtown St. Louis. This is a great old place, practically a national treasure that's been open since 1913 and run by the same family. You haven't had a malt until you've had one there.I digress. The sculpture contans 3 Polaroid images of the "Crown," inside of an old sewing table drawer and measures about 12x5x5. It's wired and ready to hang!
