The Tacoma Narrow's Bridge before second span was added in the first half of the 1990's. Some may remember the historic background of this bridge the first structure Galloping Gertie having fallen in a windstorm in the 1940's. This image was chosen by author Richard S. Hobbs for the cover of his book "Catastrophe to Triumph bridges of the Tacoma Narrows" published by Washington State university press 2006.

This image is important to me because it is not the first time I have shot it with a lightning bolt. This is significant as lightning in the Northwest is fairly rare.

One 18x24" rolled lithograph, 5 color rolled ink on plate applies to 100# paper stock,
