Black and purple steampunk clockwork mini top hat

Description

Designed for elegant ladies in the steampunk set, this mini top hat is inspired by Victorian riding hat designs, but with a neo-mechanical flair.

This hat is made of black felt, measuring 7 inches long by 5.5 inches wide, including the brim. It is adorned with a large "pad" of feathers in black with purple accent feathers, a two-tone style of pad that we have only in limited supply. The band is made of purple satin ribbon. The veil is made of a slightly shimmery purple tulle that is fashioned into a puff at the back of the hat with long tulle tendrils that hang down the back.

The hat is finished with a hand-made steampunk adornment, of watch gears and cogs hand-set in resin that is filled with purple glitter. Each of our steampunk adornments is one of a kind. The photos show one example of our adornments. The hat is sewn to a hair comb, in a style called a fascinator, for easy attachment to any hairstyle. All adornments are hand-sewn and securely attached.

This hat is MADE TO ORDER. It will be custom made when your order is received, which can take up to a week.

Domestic shipping by USPS Priority mail is $5 (no tracking or insurance, but delivery confirmation is included). Priority Mail usually takes 2-3 days but it is not guaranteed, and it has taken up to five days on occasion. UPS has recently increased their rates so UPS Ground can be up to $15, depending on location, but offers tracking, insurance and a guaranteed delivery date. Please contact us before purchase if you'd like to upgrade your shipping to UPS Ground.

Paypal is preferred. If you wish to send check or money order, item will ship once payment has cleared.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: We ONLY ship Priority Mail to other countries because regular mail can be too unreliable. Priority Mail usually takes 6-10 days but is not guaranteed. Generic international shipping rates are provided below as a convenience. If you want us to double check shipping rates for priority mail to your country, just let us know.
