Madame Pele I - original oil pastel painting
Description
Pele is the fire goddess of these Hawaiian islands. This painting came about when I had thoughts reflecting Pele after visiting the Big Island (Pele's home) and observed the crater and lava flows from Madame Pele's force. Her hair is fire and her heartspace flames in iridescent golds. The background holds Pictograph images of Ancient Hawaiians.This is an original oil pastel painting, triple mat with lauhala . The outside measurement is 16 x 20 inches and the image size is 9 x 12 inches.
