betty blue - scribbled crocheted cat softie

I love to doodle. You know, scribble mindlessly while talking on the phone or when listening to something boring on TV. I love to crochet and I decided to combine the two and scribble on my crochet critters with yarn.

I created several long chains of stitches with burnt orange cotton yarn and hand sewed them randomly in a scribble pattern all over this dark blue kitty.

Then I named her Betty Blue, and she is ready to go home with you. She knows she's very striking looking. But she promises to behave and not act too snobby. Though she likes to remind me that she is one of a kind and knows that I would never make another like her.

Betty Blue was crocheted by me using no pattern, I just make it up as I go along. She is dark blue textured acrylic yarn. She's stuffed with small pebbles at the paws and butt for pose-ability along with lots of poly-fill. Did I mention that Betty is super squishy and very huggable?

Betty Blue measures 18" / 45.72cm from ear tip to toe, the diameter of her head is 12.5" / 31.75cm and her belly is 13" / 33.02cm around. Her darling tail is 9" / 22.86cm long.
