little handmade doll pendant made of vintage beads - hand painted face

Description

A little friend made with vintage beads - glass, lucite, plastic - and 28 gauge no-tarnish craft wire. Because of the delicate wiring and age of the beads, the bead dolls in this collection are meant only for display and not for active play. Each has a small loop at the top of its head for hanging as an ornament or pendant if desired. All beads are vintage except where indicated.

bead descriptions

• wooden head has been hand painted a pale beige color
• hat is a white, cupped 5-petal lucite flower
• her collar is a dainty pink lucite flower
• bright aqua lucite body bead is faceted (a bit like a disco ball)
• arms have 4 delicate white glass beads - 2 rice beads / 2 rounds (all from Japan); hands are (new) glass aqua sparkly rounds
• legs are made of white glass rounds (like arms) with (new) glass aqua flower bell cuffs

Please note: Some of the vintage beads used might have slight irregularities, faint crazing, tiny bubbles in the glass, or other "flaws" because of their age or method of manufacture. I don't use any materials that I personally deem unsellable or that I wouldn't buy myself, but I understand that some buyers might not care for these conditions, which are, again, nominal.
