Blue and white fairy hemp necklace or anklet - Sprightly Sylphs

My "Underwater Wyvern" necklace represents Water elementals, so I decided to make this Sylph necklace for those with an affinity for Air.

This necklace is crocheted from white hemp cord, strung with Air-colored beads. The charms at the center are pewter faeries and the other beads are plastic, glass, wood, and polymer clay (those ones I made) in blues, whites, and clears.

The entire necklace is about 37" (94 cm) long (including extra cord to tie with where it isn't crocheted), but the crocheted, thicker part is about 28" (71.1 cm). You tie the necklace in the back, so it can fit any size neck, and can be worn tighter or looser (personally I usually wear this style as a choker). I have put some glue on the ends to keep the cord from fraying.

The cord is a bit long, but if you'd prefer to wear this as an anklet, just trim off the extra hemp on the end and tie it around your ankle, and you're good to go!

My cute dragon is modeling it in one of the photos- obviously he's not included; he just wanted to hang out with some shiny things. ;)
