The Ties That Bind - Original Collage - Framed

A double portrait collage of a young Victorian girl wearing a white dress and a Victorian paper doll in a similar pose. The background is a scan of vintage rosebud fabric. The hands of the girl and paper doll are tied together by a red thread (bloodline). All of the imagery (19th century photograph, paper doll, fabric) is taken from my collection of items I've collected over the years. This is an original, handmade collage, not a print, and it measures 10 1/2 x 16 1/2 in. The collage is framed in a handmade, wooden frame that has been painted black.Added on Nov 08, 2009
