One 9mm Sprouted Curl cartilage hoop/nose ring - Solid 14k yellow, rose, or white gold

Description

A solid gold ball punctuates this simple hoop. Striking, yet exceedingly comfortable to wear, you can easily sleep in this every night. I love the organic, slightly cratered feel these balls have. No two are ever quite the same! The gold ball is formed by melting the end of 20 gauge 14k gold wire until it forms a solid gold bead. A lovely, understated handmade piece for everyday wear.

Perfect as a nose ring, it's also great for second or third piercings and cartilage piercings - I prefer these in my second piercings. You're limited only by your own creativity - and piercings!

This hoop is 3/8" (9mm) and 20 gauge*. Please let me know if you'd like the rose gold or white gold versions. Otherwise I will send you one in yellow gold.

The fourth photo shows my sprouted stock just after I melt the balls on the ends of the wire and before I put them into the jewelry pickle, which removes the black firescale. Once they're out of the pickle, I make these into a variety of hoops, nose studs, and nose screws.

*20 gauge earrings are the thickness of normal stud earrings and fit normal pierced ears nicely.
