Description

Oort Cloud:: An immense spherical cloud surrounding our Solar System containing billions of icy bodies in solar orbit. Occasionally, passing stars disturb the orbit of one of these bodies, causing it to come streaking into the inner solar system as a long-period comet. These comets have very large orbits and are observed in the inner solar system only once. The vast distance of the Oort cloud is considered to be the outer edge of the Solar System - where the Sun's orb of physical and gravitational influence ends.

A Truly elegant piece, what better way to dress up an outfit for that special night?

A large 14mm tanzanite Swarovski octagon is wire wrapped using 28ga silver plated wire to a circular retaining ring which is then wrapped to multiple retaining rings creating a very intricate pendant which is finished with 7mm and 11mm tanzanite Swarovski teardrops at the ends of silver plated chain dangles.

****Please Note: The retaining rings used to create this piece were not made for jewelry, they are hardware for keeping pins in machinery so there will be color variations, I do my best to completely match the rings to each other but sometimes it just isn't possible... the fact that they are not uniform in color and cosistancy adds to the charm of these pieces and just reinforces the overall "Industrial" look

This necklace is 18 inches, with a 3 inch extender chain, if you need it a custom length please don't hesitate to contact me!
