Heart Shaped Pottery Bowl
Description
This sweet little bowl was thrown from porcelain on the potter's wheel and then altered to form a small heart that measures 4 inches (10 cm) in width and 3 inches (8 cm) in height.It has been glazed with a copper red glaze and fired to 2300 F in a gas fired kiln. Copper glazes fired to that temperature do not pose any food safety issues.
These tiny bowls are the perfect size for a bowl of sherbet
or as a catch all for your special rings and other jewelry if you need to move them while you work.
The glaze can be described as a deep raspberry with maroon colored highlights.
