Sterling silver hammered ring and seashell pearl bracelet

Description

An entirely hand crafted all Sterling silver bracelet featuring gorgeous glossy silver grey seashell pearls and hammered, closed silver rings.

The silver rings have been formed, soldered, hammered and extensively polished and joined together with securely wrapped silver loops, each featuring a glossy silver grey seashell pearl. The bracelet closes with a co-ordinating hand formed silver hook which fastens into the last ring.

Seashell pearls are a manufactured pearls, but from natural shell materials, so they have the same weight and feel as a very expensive cultured pearl. The base bead is made in shell to a high standard of roundness and polish, then coated by dipping in several layers of coloured and ground mother of pearl. So the seashell pearl is manufactured, but from the same materials as if nature had made it, giving the look of a high grade of cultured pearl at a fraction of the price.

The fit of this bracelet is 160mm (6¼"). This is not a linear length, but the length of the inner diameter, as it sits in wear. Each silver ring is approximately 13mm (½") in diameter.

Bracelets are measured as they would sit in the wrist, using a cone shaped mandrel. I measure the diameter of where they fall naturally, just as they would on the wrist - effectively the inner diameter.

To measure your wrist, use a soft fabric tape (or ribbon / string and a ruler) to measure the lowest (or highest) point where you'd like the bracelet to sit on either your hand or up your forearm and this would give you your personal bracelet fit.
