Batt-tacular yarns are yarns spun from carded/blended batts of fiber. FunctionArt yarns are my version of an art yarn - fun and FUNCTIONAL.

Here is a deep, dark skein spun by me from a LOOP Spontaneous Spinning batt from loop.etsy.com - her SSBs are wonderful spontaneous blends of various fibers and sparkle. This one includes various types of wool, bamboo, and possible some alpaca. I spun in novelty yarn snippets and plied with an olive green and dark magenta thread. Colors are shades of dark green, olive green, magenta, dark burgundy and wine, and bits of lighter pink. This is sort of a dark sister to "Sabrina's Garden", though a bit more textured.

SKEIN 1 : 78 yards, 3.8 oz/110 grams

Wraps per inch: 6-8
Gauge per inch: 3-3.75
Recommended needles: 10-11, maybe higher
Recommended hook: I-K, or higher

Mostly bulky weight with a few thicker sections.

Hand wash cold, dry flat
