Description
Brass feathers, with a mix of patinas, dangle and swing from hand formed and hammered sterling silver hoops.I've given the longest feathers, 1.5"/38mm, a verdigris patina, then slightly sanded for additional texture. The middle feathers, 1"/25mm, have been oxidized and sanded. Lastly, the smallest feathers, .625"/18mm, have a rich verdigris patina. The aged patina of the silver provides a complementary contrast.
Full of texture, movement and color, the earrings measure 2.5"/6.3cm from the top of the hoops.
