Description

Layers of vintage textile including crochet doily, lace trim and linen napkin are encrusted about with glass beads, eggshell sequins and vintage coral fragments of the palest pink, stripped from a necklace.

A central bone cabochon is collaged with 19th paper scrap. Backed in cream felt and measuring approximately 70 by 70mm, the brooch attaches to whatever you fancy with a silver swivel-head bar pin.

All materials (excepting the felt and bar pin) are vintage/re-claimed.
