Elasmobranch earrings

Description

If this design was a lolcat, its caption would be NOM, NOM, NOM. Because that's what a shark with no teeth would sound like when it gummed its prey.

This design was supposed to be something else, but sometimes you have to let a new piece be what it wants. These wanted to be shark jaws.

These post-backed hoops are surprisingly easy to wear. Two hand-forged pieces of wire are connected with balled up wire, allowing for subtle movement and a bit of visual interest. Each is hand formed, so there will be small differences in each one. They measure approximately 1 1/2" across.

Note: the earrings on the model are samples, and not the exact pair you will receive.
