SWALLOWTAIL original linocut
Description
"Swallowtail" was created and carved on a linoleum block and hand printed on cream Arches acid free paper; I could not resist, with summer upon us, delving into the form of these wonderful creatures.The image is approximately 6x 6 inches, and the paper is approximately 8.5 x 8.5 inches.
Every hand pulled print is signed in pencil, titled, and has a limited edition number. The physical act of creating a linocut involves multiple steps: drawing and designing, carving and gouging, handling quality paper, rolling the ink, and so on. Every step is done by me, and every linocut in the edition is slightly unique.
This piece is packaged in a clear protective bag with a backing for stability.
