These prayer beads team up the gentle, compassionate energy of green aventurine with the protective power of carnelian. The lotus flower is a symbol of divine grace and spiritual unfolding. It is sacred to the Buddha, who is often depicted sitting on a many-petalled lotus flower.

These prayer beads have been designed so that they can be worn as a necklace, with the magnetic clasp acting as a bead. It is 1/3 of a regular length mala, and contains 36 beads. There are 32 aventurine beads spaced with small wooden beads. There are two barrels of natural carnelian into which have been etched the universal prayer or mantra 'Om mani padme hum' (which translated means 'The jewel of consciousness is in the heart's lotus'). The lotus flower focal bead is beautifully carved from natural carnelian and attached with a simple sterling silver hand-made bale.

The overall length of just under 19in (47cm) makes a comfortable necklace. Now, when you pray with your mala, you can carry all that positive energy with you.

Aventurine
A green stone that resonates with the heart chakra. It is a stone of balance and compassion. It has a calm, clear energy that enables the integration of body, mind and spirit, making it a very useful stone for prayer and meditation. It is also considered as one of the luckiest stones.

Carnelian
Natural carnelian barrels protect against negative influences and help you to focus your good intentions. Carnelian is a stone of self belief. It protects against negative influences and dispels apathy.
