Buddha eyes mala necklace in new jade and pearl
"I bow to the all-seeing wisdom of the Buddha"

These prayer beads make use of the calm, balancing energy of new jade, with pure white pearls as spacers. The mala has been designed to wear as a necklace. It is 1/3 of a regular length mala, and contains 36 beads, with the clasp acting as a bead. There are 32 new jade beads spaced with seed pearls and two jade hearts. The focal bead is a Tibetan 'Buddha eye', symbolising the unity of all things.

The overall length of 18in (46cm) is comfortable to wear as a necklace. Now, after praying with your mala, you can carry all the positive energy with you.

New jade
A stone with the look and feel of jade - but with different energy. Like jade - it is a stone of good fortune but this stone is more about balance and equilibrium. It helps with centering and is perfect for meditation. The stones have a lovely soft, smooth feel and they warm quickly in the hand. Also known as bowenite, new jade is a translucent form of serpentine.

Pearl
A symbol of sincerity, integrity and purity of thought.

Buddha eye
This symbol is often seen at the top of stupas (Buddhist shrines), with a pair of eyes looking out in the four directions. The Buddha eyes symbolise the omniscience (all-seeing) of the Buddha. Look carefully at the nose - it looks rather like a question mark - it is in fact the Nepalese symbol for the number 1 and represents the unity of all things. On the back is the famous 'Om mani padme hum' mantra (which translated means 'The jewel of consciousness is in the heart's lotus').

Please note that due to the nature of using natural stones, there may be slight variation in the appearance - and this is what makes every single piece unique.
