Cave Pony OOAK Horse Sculpture

Description

Some 30,000 years ago, using cave walls as a palette, man created the most amazing art work that the world has ever seen. Inspired by the Lascaux paintings of southwestern France, this sculpture is constructed of raw silk, wire, papier mache , and paper clay - the fabric and wire skeleton was covered with paper mache pulp and after drying and sanding a skin of paperclay and acrylic paint were added.
The mane and tail are black painted copper wire and hardware is attached for easy hanging.

Cave Pony is approximately 11 inches long and 8 inches tall (excluding mane and tail).
