Warrior's Shield Necklace
Description
I created the pendant by etching an image of a Kenya warrior shield onto sterling silver. After I sawed out the shape and filed it smooth I used liver of sulfur to patinate it and buffed it to highlight the etching. I have displayed it with a simple jumpring on a black leather cord that finishes with a sterling silver hook and eye clasp. The necklace is 18" and the pendant is just over 2" tall.Added on Nov 11, 2009
