Handspun Handpainted Wool and Mohair Yarn - Forest Canopy
Description
This yarn was spun on my little Ashford spinning wheel. I first handpainted roving consisting of 75% soft merino wool with a 15% mohair for extra sheen and softness, and then spun the yarn single ply. It is bulky and very soft and yummy and was spun to be thinner and thicker in places to create a lovely texture for knitting or crocheting. I love using this yarn as a novelty yarn in my felted hats.The color scheme of this yarn is a lovely combination of green tones, mixed with a little blue and grey.
