Mandarin Crush
Hand Spun Single Ply Yarn
Here is a hand spun single ply yarn spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool, dyed by cloudlover69.etsy.com . This is color "Mandarin Crush" and includes deep, dark shades of orange and purple/plum. Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney. The Falkland I get from cloudlover is amazing - spins like a dream for a really nice yarn!
SKEIN 1 : 166 yards, 5.1 oz/145 grams
Wraps per inch: 11-13
Gauge per inch: 5-5.75
Recommended needles: 6-7 (metric: 4.25-4.5)
Recommended hook: F, G
DK/Worsted - right between the two, little bit thick n thin
Hand wash cold, dry flat
