These are great earrings for earring lovers. They are my current favorites, so I'm making them with several different gemstones besides amethyst, including garnet, peridot, turquoise, smokey quartz and black onyx. I have been wearing my pair every day and loving them to pieces. I wish I could make them look as beautiful in these pictures as they do in person. They are absolutely phenomenal!

They are true dangles, hanging long from your lobes and grabbing the attention of each and every passerby. Not subtle nor understated, these earrings are artsy and bold. They hang 3.25 inches from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the woven, faceted amethyst fringe.

Though they are long, these earrings are surprisingly light, like most all of my creations. Each long but lightweight earring weighs less than 0.25 ounce.

I have been doing wire work for over ten years, and I hope that shows in the quality of my work. I do all the wire work by hand, from the construction of the hoop frames, to the weaving of the gemstones, to the wire wrapping and the creation of each and every swirl. I stand behind everything I make, and I hope you will enjoy wearing my original creations as much as I enjoy making them.

AMETHYST is an amazing stone to work with. It's deep and vibrant purple color makes any piece look amazing. There are many positive metaphysical properties associated with wearing amethyst. Among many others, it is said to bring stability, peace, calm, balance, courage and inner strength.

SILVER: All metal components in my pieces are either fine or sterling silver, and I incorporate many, many Bali sterling beads into my work, as I appreciate the great attention to detail and the handmade beauty of these beads. The ear wires are also sterling silver. Please let me know if you need them replaced with hypoallergenic stainless steel.

AUTHENTIC BALI STERLING SILVER BEADS: Bali is a small island located in southeast Asia. Bali, Indonesia is known around the world for its silver jewelry made by master metal smiths.
