Rainy Day - Purple and Pale Grey - Fingering Weight - Alpaca and Wool - 438 yards

Description

The colors on this turned out just perfect! It reminds me of the type of creative rainy day after which my shop is named.

Half of this skein is purple and the other half is grey.

This yarn is so very soft!

Depending on the size of the project this yarn could make lovely stripes.

I dyed this yarn with acid dyes for colorfastness. (Nothing harsh though, the acid is simple white vinegar.)

50% Superwash Merino Wool
25% Superfine Alpaca
25% Nylon
438 yards
3.5ounces/ 100grams
6-8 sts per inch on size 1-3 US needles

care: hand wash/ dry flat

While this yarn is half superwash, I suspect it is the alpaca that makes the care instructions hand wash. I have not tried putting it through the wash or tried to felt it to see what happens.
