Essential Blue - White Pearl and Sapphire Earrings

Classic white freshwater pearls accented with natural sapphires; simple enough to wear every day, elegant enough that you will want to.

I made these earrings using 9mm drops of natural white freshwater pearl, to which I added 3mm faceted rondelles of natural denim-blue sapphire.

The pearls are of a very nice quality; exceptionally lustrous and smooth, with a nice iridescence. The sapphires are a lovely deep blue, semi-opaque and nicely cut. Each stone is individually hand-wrapped in sterling silver wire.

The earrings measure about 1/2 inch long, from the bottoms of sterling silver french wire closures.
