Pine Needle Basket with Diamond Shape Center
Description
At the center of this small, oval shaped basket is a diamond shaped raffia wrapped shape with a woven circle design, also of the same natural raffia. Tightly coiled pine needles swirl upward and out in a wheat stitch to give the basket its final oval form. Two small wrapped extentions provide the final detail. This original design, OOAK basket measures 6"x5 1/2" and is 1 1/2" high. It makes an unusual accent piece as well as a container for small items.Added on Nov 04, 2009
