Vintage Steiff Cat Puppet - Grey Tabby Cat

This is a STEIFF Mohair Cat Puppet. In excellent condition with all original tags including the original red/yellow cardboard sales tag that reads 'Hand Teddy, Steiff, Knopf IM OHR' while the cloth tag reads on one side 'Original Steiff 6660/17 Made in Germany' and the other side reads - 'PA55, MASS73, covering 51% wool, 49% cotton'.

This kitty is made of mohair with embroidered paws and glass eyes. My mother collected these for me as a child in the early 70s and they were one of the items in my room "just for show". This and my other Steiff listings have never been played with and are in perfect, mint condition.

This cat has never been exposed to smoke or pets and has lived a quiet life sealed in a plastic bag in storage for the past 30 years. He is looking forward to finding a good home and helping me raise funds for a new sewing machine.
