Sea Stone Necklace - Koi Tails

In June of 2009, I went to a fabulous place called North Topsail Beach. I've been going to the Carolina Coast for 25 years, but this year was especially magical. During my trip, I collected these absolutely beautiful flat stones on the beach. Transluscent, smooth, beckoning to be jewelry. Each angle brings a different color, with endless possibilities.

Thus, the auryndesign Sea Stone Collection was born. Each piece is a little piece of my soul, as each day I yearn to be there.

Accented with handmade Japanese Chiyogami paper circles and sealed in jewelry-grade resin, this beauty is one of a kind and very special. The back is natural stone accented with my original handmade Sterling Silver bail.

This one I call Koi Tails. It measures 1.5" (3.17 cm) long with the bail by .75" wide. It comes gift ready and with a complimenting 18" black cotton necklace with a lobster clasp closure.
