Sterling Silver Ruffle and Aquamarine Necklace

Description

Two simple ingredients -- sterling silver and aquamarine -- equal one beautiful necklace. Two highly textured sterling silver discs flank a 7mm - 8mm aquamarine rondelle bead. The bead is faceted. The shape and texture of the discs is reminiscent of ruffles. One smaller aquamarine bead sits at each end of the necklace's focal piece.

The aquamarines and sterling silver ruffles were all joined together on a securely hand wrapped length of sterling silver wire. The focal piece is suspended from lengths of handfinished sterling silver chain. The handfinishing included adding a sterling silver lobster clasp and small aquamarine stones.

The necklace measures approximately 17 inches/43.18 centimeters long.
