red bowl
Description
2 1/2"high...6 1/2"across...made with a coarse clay....rim is decorated with carved, black shadowed scallops....glazed in copper red and only partially reduced, it shows off nicely the finger grooves made by the potter(me), the marks of creation. it looks like an antique, carried on a covered wagon across the plains of Kansas to the western frontier. it's sturdy and has a great feel.food dishwasher oven and microwave safe...one of a kind...signed and dated by the artist.click on the photos,zoom in and check it out.Added on Sep 28, 2009
