Vintage 1930's Bowl by Royal China
Description
This is a gorgeous bowl! It was made by the Royal China Company in Sebring, Ohio. From the research I've done, this bowl dates in the 1930's based on the pattern name - which is 5186. It's stamped on the bottom with Royal China, plus one from the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters. The rest says Warranted, 22-K-Gold, 5186, and FF, which I believe is the pattern. 5186 has many different alphabet codes. The condition is pretty good - no chips or cracks, but it does have a lot of crackling that you will find in old dishes. Some of the gold border has been worn away in a few places, either that or it wasn't put on properly in the first place. The flowers at the bottom are in perfect condition.
It measures about 9 inches in diameter, and 4 inches tall. Shipping includes a handling fee - it will be packed very well to prevent breakage.
