Bridge 2 With Shelf

This is the second in a series of Bridge Coffee tables I designed. They were inspired by the bridges crossing the Mississippi river. It’s actually the second table redesigned when a customer who didn’t have much space wanted an additional shelf added. She had a good idea and I am trying to capitalize on it, capitalistic style.

Bridge 2 is made of 3/4 inch Baltic Birch cut on a very large CNC machine. The top surface of the table pictured is high pressure laminate. You can get it in black, white or without laminate in natural.

The Baltic birch edges are rounded over slightly and all is sanded and finished by my own hand (that is until I can afford to get someone else to do it).

This particular Bridge 2 was sprayed with Varnish rather than my standard water based polyacrylic. I had my reasons.

Bridge 2 with shelf is 39 inches long by 19 inches wide. It stands 17 /34 inches high.
