Sock Pattern - Red Rock Road Socks

This listing is for the pattern to knit these beautiful Red Rock Road Socks, so named for the winding road that runs through a small town near me in Upstate NY. The twisted stitch pattern that runs down the front and back of the leg reminds me of this meandering road and the stream that runs through the woods alongside it.

Skill level Advanced Beginner to Intermediate.

Gauge: 8sts/in in stockinette st.

Materials: Image shown was knit in Knitpicks Essential (fingering weight sock yarn) Color "Grass". You will need 2 skeins, or approx 400yds of yarn. I recommend a solid or semi-solid color of yarn, as the twisted stitch patterns will show up better with this.

Needles: 2 - 24" in. circular needles, size 2US (2.75mm)
