In A Nutshell...Dichroic Glass and Blue Titanium
Description
This nutshell was quite a handful! There really wasn't much of the shell left to it! I coated it many times over, added a thick bale made from a fine silver (pmc3) coil and snaked the coil around the the shell. I added a few spirals of fine silver paste (pmc3) with a syringe and fired it in the kiln. I slipped a lovel round dichroic glass cabochon from www.carolynrelei.com inside the shell and secured it with the fine silver coil. The back of the shell need some detail so I added a small piece of blue sculptural titanium from Gage Designs and secured it with ICE resin. This piece is totally reversible!!!This is for a pendant only. If you would like to add a sterling silver chain please see the add on option listed in the shop.
